Black Winemakers/Distillers

We are crazy about Mac and wife Lil. Mac was born the son of a Texas moonshiner, so we love him already. The 1997 vintage was his first attempt at Pinot and rivals some of the best Burgundy with amazing fruit, smoke and coffee flavors. Only a few hundred cases of his wine made. Real beauties!
Mac is a member of the Association of African American Vintners.

Jabulani Ntshangase is one of the few Black African winemakers in South Africa. The name Thabani means "joyful" and his wines are truly that. We love to support this wholly Black-owned venture.
